Housed in original buildings built in 1790 the Hovborg Kro & Kursuscenter is situated in a charming village setting. The Holme River gently flows through the Inn’s garden and fir tree forest. Renovated with care and respect for the historical nature of the buildings, the Hotel now offers a balanced combination of old world charm and modern functionality. 51 wonderful double rooms have direct access to small terraces that lead out in to the gardens and authentic cobblestone paved courtyard. The Hovborg Inn specialises in Danish regional cuisine and offers an à la carte menu dominated by game, fish and locally sourced produce. Indeed the local river provides the opportunity for anglers to pit their wits against the plentiful supply of brown and rainbow trout. A large proportion of Hovborg’s wine is directly imported from Valpolicella, Italy.
